Mental Health Diagnosis & Medication Management
Mental health is health. When sleep will not come, worry will not quiet down, or the low days start outnumbering the good ones, it deserves careful medical attention.
Doctors United Group provides professional mental health evaluations and personalized medication management for patients who may benefit from medical treatment and ongoing clinical support. Confidential, respectful care with a provider who follows through.

Medical Mental Health Care
Our mental health services are provided by licensed medical providers and focus on evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management. If talk therapy or counseling would also help, we can guide you toward appropriate resources.
Mental Health Evaluation
Every treatment plan starts with listening. Your provider takes the time to understand your symptoms, health history, current medications, concerns, and what you hope treatment will change. Common concerns patients bring to us include:
- Persistent low mood or loss of interest
- Anxiety, worry, or panic
- Trouble sleeping
- Difficulty concentrating
- Mood swings or stress that has become hard to manage
When appropriate, your provider develops an individualized treatment plan based on your clinical needs and explains it in plain language.
Medication Management
Medication management involves more than writing a prescription. When medication is appropriate, ongoing care is built around making sure it is working for you.
Medication Review
Your provider looks at everything you take, including medications for other conditions, to avoid interactions and duplication.
Treatment Monitoring
Regular check-ins track how you are responding, so progress is measured, not guessed.
Medication Adjustments
Doses and medications are adjusted when clinically appropriate, rather than left on autopilot.
Follow-Up Appointments
Scheduled visits keep your care moving and give you a set time to raise concerns.
Side Effect Monitoring
Your provider watches for side effects and helps you manage or resolve them.
Coordination of Care
When additional services are needed, your provider helps coordinate them.
How It Works
Book your visit
Schedule online, call (877) 384-6337, or walk into any DUG clinic in Florida. Telehealth visits are available for eligible patients.
Complete your evaluation
A private conversation with your provider about your symptoms, history, medications, and goals.
Receive your plan
If medication is appropriate, your provider explains the options, what to expect, and how you will be monitored.
Follow up and adjust
Regular appointments let your provider fine-tune treatment as your needs change.
Ongoing Mental Health Support
Mental health needs are not fixed. What helps this month may need adjusting next season, and finding the right medication and dose can take a little time. Regular follow-up lets your provider monitor your progress, respond to side effects early, and make appropriate changes.
Many follow-up visits can be completed by telehealth, so staying on track does not have to mean taking time off work.
Care for the Whole Person
Mental health rarely exists in isolation. Sleep, blood pressure, hormones, chronic illness, and life circumstances all play a part.
